Medicura, a specialist provider of healthcare aids, wanted to expand their customer base by making their services available at the time patients need aids. They were looking for a way to present their offerings in hospitals without the cost of a physical shop, with integration of health insurance systems.
Nextlox solution
We developed an advanced resource dispensing system with Medicura that enables Medicura to offer their services via vending machines in hospitals. The system automatically checks whether patients are insured for the desired aids and can then borrow them free of charge. It is also possible to buy aids. All transactions and issues are passed directly to Medicura's back office for further processing. Non-stock items can be ordered directly for home delivery. Result
Medicura has now found an innovative way to expand their customer reach by strategically placing vending machines in hospitals. Patients can instantly rent, borrow or buy crutches, bed risers or wheelchairs when they need aids. The link with the back office ensures seamless handling for optimal customer service.
